HS Rugby Preview - Feb 1 - Lake Travis U19 at Austin Area HS

Tomorrow night, Austin Area HS is slated to host the new Lake Travis Rugby Club in a U19 match at Burr Field at 6:30pm. The indefatigable Chris "Will you please stand up?" Bugge is set to be the sole judge of law and fact on the pitch for the evening (I once had a glass of wine poured over my bald dome at Chris' house, but THAT is a long story.)!


AAHS has struggled to round-up numbers for a couple of matches early this season. But they will surely show up en force to meet their new neighbors. Stephen Ryan and Rick Medina (Seriously? How cool is it to be a HS scrumhalf being coached by Medina?!?!) have put together a big, athletic group of rugby hungry lads, according to St. Thomas' Coach Wolfinger.
