On Friday night under the lights, we have two high school match-ups that should prove exciting! Coach Wolfinger takes the Red and White Flock of St. Thomas out of its Houston aerie for a trip down Tiger Trail to visit Stony Point HS in Round Rock, TX. Coach Rock and the lads in blue and gold are rebounding from a rough weekend, while the Eagles are looking for that first full game. Both teams possess fast backlines and big, hard loose forwards. Both the JV and the Varsity matches should be exciting affairs!
In the Metroplex, Coppell visits Jesuit Dallas in the Scrum for a Cure match in support of World Cancer Day. Remember Jesuit will be in pink jerseys provided by Knockout Sportswear and these jerseys will be auctioned off post-match to raise money for the Tackling Cancer Foundation, Vanguard Cancer Centers and Any Baby Can charities. This is an awesome way to raise money for a worthy cause by some dedicated kids!
On the collegiate front, Texas A&M plays hosts to a Texas men's club side that has been absolutely dominant this year (and that features a few Old Maroon members), the Austin Rugby Club. A&M has been playing men's clubs as work-up matches to Division-1A for a few years now. The Blacks will surely test the Aggies' mettle, but it is a test the Ags need before they face-off against Arkansas State and Life later this semester.
