The Scholarship/Tuition Assistance grants are based on a combination of: academic achievement, a minimum of two years participation in the SPX Rugby program, and financial need. Awards in the amounts of $ 2,000.00 and $ 1,500.00 will be made to two graduating seniors to be applied towards their college education. Likewise, using the same criteria, two awards of $ 600.00 each will be made to two underclassmen to be applied towards their continued education at St. Pius X High School.
Money raised for this project came from various fund raising activities on the part of the rugby team during the season and dispersed through the school’s Booster Club Scholarship program.
