Rebranding Ruckbottom

Ruckbottom started off as a way for me to be involved in rugby without distancing myself too much from my family. We all know this dilemma far too well. It grew in ways that I could not fathom and was going good until I had to relocate and change jobs in the first half of 2014.

In the Summer of 2014, Curtis Reed, the Owner and Managing Editor at This Is American Rugby (TIAR), contacted me about contributing to a regional outlet of the TIAR Network, This Is Texas Rugby. Needless to say, Ruckbottom's previous utility was transferred. I have really enjoyed posting on This Is Texas Rugby, but it is a news site, not a place for the opinions of a rabid fan and critic of the American rugby community.

I possess those opinions (popular or not) and some ideas about how "growing rugby" should be implemented, amongst other things. Those will be presented here. I hope you enjoy and disagree. Moreover, I hope you engage. I didn't come by these ideas and opinions by myself.
