The women of the University of Texas won again this Saturday, defeating Texas Tech 54-12. RugbyMag has a great article here. They play a rescheduled match versus Texas A&M on February 26th at noon.
Initial D1-A action took place in Jonesboro, AK with Texas A&M dropping a tough game to Arkansas State 71-20. A&M hosts Oklahoma next. Coach Mills will be working on possession this week. The Aggies did well when they had the ball with a hat trick scored by wing Luke Carter. The majority of the possession could put the Ags in a commanding lead against the Sooners.
D1-AA play resumed for the Southwest Collegiate Rugby Conference. Texas won a close match over North Texas 17-5. Rice toppled Houston 43-0. The Sam Houston v. TCU match faced postponement due to wind.

However, it is St. Edward's of Austin that remains undefeated by topping Angelo State this weekend 19-5.
The University of Dallas was supposed to host Texas Tech this weekend, also. No scores have been reported, yet. However, this match may have been rescheduled due to heavy rain.
Texas Collegiate D3 clubs played their Semifinal matches this weekend. Midwestern State hosted UT-San Antonio in a messy, muddy affair in which the Roadrunners rose as the victors 17-11.
UT-Dallas hosted the second match on Sunday against Lamar. The match was a played forfeit because Lamar arrived with 13 players. UTD posted extra players to Lamar's 13 so that a match could be played to a 44-5 ending. UTD's match report is posted here.
The D3 Final is scheduled for February 25th and should see UTD as the host. Given the tight match UTD and UTSA played in San Antonio earlier this semester, this should be an exciting final!
