Play For Oklahoma 7s Tournament

In a superb rugby response to the devastating tornado damage in Moore, Newcastle and South Oklahoma City, OK, the Oklahoma City Crusaders RFC is holding a charity 7s tournament on June 1, 2013 called Play For Oklahoma. All proceeds (entry fees, donations, etc) from this tournament will go to the United Way Tornado Relief Fund for the affected cities. Additionally, the OKC Crusaders are accepting nonperishable food items, clothes, pet food, and toiletries at the tournament for distribution by the United Way.

Play For Oklahoma will include Mens, Womens and HS divisions with an entry fee of $200 per team. A venue will be announced soon. The Crusaders have secured a three field complex at a local high school for this tournament.  Contact Crusaders President John "Whitey" White for details.

Please take a minute and invite your rugby Facebook friends to the FB Event page for this tournament!

If you cannot make the tournament, you can STILL make a difference! The Crusaders have set up a Tornado Relief Fund donation page (donations are set at $200) AND the Crusaders are accepting nonperishable donations shipped to the following address:

719 NW 21st, Oklahoma, City, OK 73103
